Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of advanced nanomaterials for molecular separation applications
  • Design and synthesize graphene-based materials for enhanced thermal conductivity
  • Characterize material properties using advanced analytical techniques
  • Optimize material formulations for specific applications
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate materials into system designs
  • Stay current with emerging trends in nanomaterials research
  • Mentor junior scientists and contribute to intellectual property development

Requirements

  • PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in nanomaterials research and development
  • Strong expertise in graphene and carbon-based nanomaterials
  • Experience with material characterization techniques (SEM, TEM, XRD, etc.)
  • Track record of successful materials development for industrial applications
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with membrane materials for gas separation
  • Knowledge of thermal management materials
  • Publications in high-impact scientific journals
  • Experience with scale-up of nanomaterial production
  • Familiarity with intellectual property development
  • Experience in an industrial R&D environment
