Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze methalox propulsion systems for aerospace applications
  • Develop propellant management strategies for liquid methane and oxygen
  • Create performance models and simulations for rocket engines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems with other spacecraft systems
  • Conduct technical feasibility studies and performance assessments
  • Stay current with emerging trends in aerospace propulsion technology
  • Support customer technical inquiries related to propulsion applications

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace propulsion or related field
  • Strong understanding of rocket propulsion principles and cryogenic propellants
  • Experience with propulsion system design and analysis
  • Familiarity with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and thermal analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with methalox propulsion systems
  • Knowledge of cryogenic fluid management in space environments
  • Experience with propulsion testing and validation
  • Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations
  • Publications in relevant scientific journals or conferences
